Introduction

Generator Barcelona is nestled in the Gràcia district, a bohemian hideaway filled with old city traditions from gourmet street food to artisan cafés. The hostel, near Las Ramblas, offers a perfect staging point for exploring the lively side of the city, providing easy access to the world-famous architecture, culture, history and nightlife on display throughout.

Feast on local delicacies in the bar and lounge, which is decked out in ornate Hungarian concrete floor tiles and earthy raw metals and woods, and if looking for a little more luxury, Generator Barcelona also offers terrace rooms and a penthouse apartment in the hotel with mind-blowing panoramic views of one of Europe’s best-looking cities. So much more than just a hostel!

In case of no show of a non-refundable reservation, all nights will be cancelled with penalty unless the property is informed of late arrival by the guest.

Food and Drinks

Within this hostel is the Fiesta Gracia bar which, inspired by the city’s annual Festa Major de Gracia, features 300 colourful lanterns hanging from the ceiling capturing the vibrant spirit of the city. Sit at high tables made from recycled elevator parts, or on comfy, orange tone-on-tone sofas – perfect for a daytime coffee, local beer or just a bite to eat. Happy Hour every day from 18.00 to 20.00.

Pikio Taco is a small and social taqueria just over the road from Generator Barcelona. With its urban décor and Mexican inspired touches, it’s the perfect place to have dinner with friends or eat lunch on the go. Join us for frozen margaritas and some delicious tacos, made to order with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
